Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
“Keep the knowledge, Lose the pain” is the motto of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART is a form of psychotherapy that works to reprogram the way distressing images and memories are stored so they no longer trigger distressing emotional and physical.
ART has been shown to achieve benefits more rapidly than traditional psychotherapy (usually within 1-5 sessions). Clients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, phobia, relationship issues and many other mental and physical conditions can experience benefits starting in the first session.
ART incorporates a combination of techniques used in many other traditional psychotherapies. The process uses relaxing eye movements and a technique called Voluntary Memory/Image Replacement to change the way negative images are stored in the brain. The treatment is grounded in well-established psychotherapy techniques. Additionally, clients do not even have to talk about or disclose their traumas or difficult life experiences with the therapist to achieve relief and for the therapy to work.
